Red-tailed Hawk Story – Week 6 – All of the Fs are Here!

New this week (besides the 3 fuzzballs that we have on the nest!) πŸ™‚

  • Flickr Feature (see section on the right) – currently behyve!
  • Prey spreadsheet, updated by our mods – click here.
  • A chatter contributions section is being planned for this blog. This will be a section for your stories, poems, mod chat closings…etc. I did this on the previous blog and everyone really enjoyed it! This will be developed more after the hatch excitement subsides a bit.

And now…onto our Fs!

We had a very exciting week watching these beautiful nestlings hatch. And we never get tired of witnessing Big Red and Ezra’s tender dedication to their young. F1, F2, and F3 are already feisty – especially F1! – and developing their own little personalities that we will grow to know and appreciate as the season goes on.

MoreInfoWhat is the “F Troop”?

“F Troop” was an American sitcom in the 1960s. Whether you do or don’t remember it – and whether you liked or didn’t like it – the name seems to be sticking for our youngsters this year! And honestly….a sitcom sounds about right for these hawks at this stage.Β  πŸ˜‰
